High school students in Israel now do 60 hours of volunteer work a year as part of their social bagrut certificate. In an event organized by the municipality, students from across Raanana gathered at the Ostrovsky School in order to meet representatives from the various charity organizations and to explore their options. The volunteer opportunities ranged from MDA to animal rescue shelters, and from food bank Leket Israel to RE-SPECS! This was a great opportunity to expose the students to our work and to show them how much their help is needed and how much good they accomplish by helping such great causes.
RE-SPECS Frames for the Needy rescues used and surplus glasses frames for people in need.
