You won't see this because it just doesn't make news.

But at RE-SPECS it's what we're seeing all the time. A real person with real needs. The way we look at it is simple:
Have Eyes. Need Glasses.
Sponsor glasses for a person in need. It's the least you can do.
Or is it? Actually there is something else you can do.
It's true that most Not-for-Profit organizations appeal to you for financial support, which is vitally important. But supposing that giving charity is not your thing. How else could you be of help?
Dean tells you exactly how:
Do you know someone who is hard up? They may need glasses. Telling them about RE-SPECS is the least you could do.
I'm Ilya. I'm glad I found RE-SPECS
It was worth it for me to come all the way from Ramat Gan. Not only did I get a great pair of glasses - as good as any on the market - but I also got the VIP treatment with great service, and at a fraction of the cost. Some charity organizations give you the feeling that "You should be grateful that you're getting assistance, so be quiet!" But not here. I am glad someone told me about RE-SPECS.
What's new at RE-SPECS? A branch in Ramat Yishai
Meet Limor Cohen-Levy, B. Optom.

With over 15 years' experience in optometry, I like the appeal of RE-SPECS. I live in Ramat Yishai, a small town surrounded by several others, not far from Haifa. From what I've seen there are many people in need in this area and I feel very privileged to be serving them. At our store Optimore, everyone gets individual attention, an expert eye exam and quality eyeglasses. Below is a picture of the frames that I offer RE-SPECS customers.
Kfar Saba & Raanana Students Give Back to the Community
What a way to blast off the new school year 2014-2015 with the involvement of another 16 amazing volunteers! These remarkably capable 10th- and 11th-graders are participating in a municipal-sponsored program whereby they do volunteer work for a total of 60 hours for the year. Their reward? A special kind of Bagrut certificate called a Social Bagrut Certificate, prized for its social implications. At RE-SPECS, students gain other rewards too. In the words of Ayelet, “I think it's important that people get the glasses they need even if they can't afford them, and I'm happy to be a part of that.” Participating Kfar Saba schools include: Ort Shapira, Herzog, Glili and Amana. Raanana schools include: Alon, Aviv and Meitarim.
